About us

Presta Meble is the brand of KAIZEN sp. z o.o. Since 2005 we have made upholstered furniture for the hospitality trade: bench seating and sofas, armchairs, chairs and tables for restaurants, hotels, bars, cafés, pubs and nightclubs. Our furniture stands in large hotel complexes and in small family restaurants alike, and we treat an order for three metres as carefully as one for a hundred.

A commercial venue makes quite different demands from a private living room. Several hundred people pass across a sofa in a nightclub over a weekend. A seam that lasts ten years at home can give way after a single season there. That is why durability is what we build for. How the furniture looks in the first photograph is secondary. What counts is how it looks after three years in service.

In the trade since 2005

We complete over 50 full orders a year, from a single armchair in a small café to the entire furnishing of a hotel room. Our factory is in Poland, and every project passes through the hands of upholsterers and craftsmen with long experience. It is that settled workforce that lets us take on shapes and volumes other makers turn down.

The company is run by Mariusz Wolski, in the furniture trade since 2005. Our own production started in 2007, and since 2021 we have traded as KAIZEN sp. z o.o. The change of company form had tax reasons. The factory, the people and the way we produce are the same.

We make furniture both for large international hotel chains and for people opening their first hospitality venue. The aim is the same in both cases: the furniture has to withstand years of hard use and fit the particular room it stands in, not just a photograph in a catalogue.

Contract furniture for hotels, restaurants, bars and clubs

Our catalogue has over 30 base models. It opens with the BASIC bench from 1 500 NOK per running metre, and from there you will find PARIS, MONACO and WINDSOR, as well as the modular SNAKE system for curved layouts. Most models also come in a MAX version with a higher back.

The catalogue is a starting point for the conversation, not a closed selection. Everything we make, we make to measure: we change measurements, shape, back height and upholstery freely.

The range includes:

  • Hotel furniture: sofas and armchairs for the lobby, bench seating for the breakfast room and furniture for the hotel restaurant.
  • Restaurant and café furniture: bench seating built to the room, sofas, chairs and solid small tables.
  • Bar and pub furniture: bar sofas along the counter and benches at the tables.
  • Furniture for clubs and nightlife venues: sofas that take hard traffic, dedicated solutions for VIP areas, CHESTERFIELD, upholstered wall panels and LED tables.

Workmanship and certified materials

As a maker of contract furniture we keep an eye on technical parameters and on safety in venues where the public moves about:

  • Contract fabrics: certified upholstery materials with high abrasion resistance in the Martindale test, chosen according to what the individual venue will be used for.
  • Safety and hygiene: where the use of the venue calls for it we choose fabrics with a fire certificate, and we have stain-repellent, water-repellent and easy-clean materials.
  • Reinforced construction: the frames of our sofas are built in selected timber and thick furniture board, so the piece stands firm under full load.

Projects in Norway and elsewhere in Europe

We have delivered to Norway for eighteen months, straight from the factory in Poland. Outside Norway we have furnished, among others, Klub 7 Nebo in Brno, where alongside the sofas we put up upholstered walls and LED tables, Cafe Beluga in Bonn, Hôtel Royal Beaulaincourt in France and a restaurant in Budapest.

In Poland we have delivered to Restbotanica in Katowice, Kaffel in Gliwice, House of Hot Pot & BBQ in Poznań, Naleśnikarnia 2.0 in Bytom, the Złota Bila billiard centre at Blue City in Warsaw, Stara Przepompownia 2.0 in Ostrów Wielkopolski and the food hall area of Krzywy Domek in Sopot.

Orders from abroad we handle just as smoothly as domestic ones: fabric samples go in the post, and we set the final measurements from the floor plan of the room.

Working with architects and interior designers

We work continuously with designers and know what demands furniture has to meet already at the drawing stage. We produce quotations from a technical specification free of charge and without obligation. Before production we send a physical fabric sample, so that both the designer and the investor can judge texture and colour in reality and not on a screen.

We reproduce shapes from a technical drawing precisely, including sofas bent along an arc or laid in a wave. PARIS for Restbotanica in Katowice was made to an arc, and for Klub Hype we drew the furniture for the VIP area to the client’s own design. If you are looking for a maker who will take on an unusual shape, get in touch already at the drawing stage. That is when it is easiest to adapt the production method to what you have in mind.

Let us talk about furniture for your venue

Call or write. So that we can put together a concrete and free quotation quickly, we need three things:

  • What kind of venue it is: hotel, restaurant, café or club.
  • Whether you already have a design from an architect, or whether we start from scratch.
  • When the furniture has to be in place in the venue.

If you have no professional floor plan, a photograph and approximate wall measurements will do. We answer with which solutions fit best, how long the order takes and what the production costs.

Frequently asked questions

Who makes the furniture?

KAIZEN sp. z o.o., with our own factory in Poland. We have supplied upholstered furniture to hospitality venues since 2005 and complete over 50 full orders a year, in Poland and elsewhere in Europe.

Do you make bench seating and hotel furniture to measure?

Yes. The catalogue has over 30 base models, and we rebuild each of them to the requirements of the individual room: length, depth, shape, back height and fabric. We also make furniture to an architect's drawing, including curved sofas and modular layouts.

Which fabrics do you use in furniture for hospitality venues?

Contract fabrics with high abrasion resistance in the Martindale test, at least 40 000 cycles and as a rule over 100 000. Where the use of the venue calls for it we choose certified fabrics, and we also have stain-repellent, water-repellent and easy-clean materials.

Do you deliver to Norway?

Yes. We have delivered to Norway for eighteen months, straight from the factory in Poland. The order is handled remotely from floor plans, and we send fabric samples by post before production.
