BASIC is the simplest shape in our catalogue and the lowest price per linear metre. The form is soft and rounded: the back is a cushion of its own standing slightly away from the seat, the edges are rounded, and the piece sits low on small legs. The model for a venue where the seating has to survive use rather than attract attention.

Measurements and price

The depth of 50 cm is the smallest in the whole catalogue, and that has two consequences. In a narrow room more space is left for the passage than with models at 70 cm. On a pallet six modules of 1.2 metres fit instead of four, so freight comes out cheaper over the same length.

What separates BASIC from BASIC II and BASIC MAX

All three have the same depth of 50 cm and the same seat at 43 cm. BASIC II differs purely in the buttoning, BASIC MAX purely in the height of the back.

Construction

Foam with a density meant for contract use, that is, for a piece where someone sits down and stands up dozens of times a day, year after year. Cheap foam loses its spring after a few months at that rhythm.

For serving venues we choose fabric with an abrasion resistance of at least 40 000 Martindale, and most of our range sits above 100 000. We hold hundreds of samples, so we put together a package for the particular venue instead of sending the whole range.

Where BASIC works best

Pubs, pizzerias, bars and fast food, that is, places with high turnover where durability and a sensible price per metre matter most. If the room has to look representative, a model with a taller back or with buttoning does the job better.

Lead time and ordering

Black in standard sizes goes with fast delivery. Other sizes, colours and finishes we make to measure, with roughly four to six weeks from the moment payment is registered.

We take orders from 1 linear metre. Before production we ask for at least 50 per cent of the order value against a proforma invoice. Corner elements are measured along the back and charged at the same rate as a straight run.
