Restaurant sofa PARMA II MAX

PARMA II MAX is the most decorative model in this family, and at the same time the tallest. The back is one hundred centimetres high and sewn in a dense squared pattern: a net of small square fields through the whole height.

The shape stays angular, the back runs flush with the seat, and the piece stands on visible round legs, like the rest of the PARMA family.

A taller back means more rows, not larger fields

The field in the pattern has a fixed size, so with a back of one hundred centimetres there are simply more rows than in the 80 cm variant. The net becomes visually denser instead of stretching out.

The result is that the stitching on PARMA II MAX stops being a detail and becomes the main surface of the piece. From the other end of the room you see the texture first, and only then the colour.

Measurements and price

The difference against PARMA MAX is 200 NOK per linear metre and comes purely from the work on the stitching.

The whole PARMA family side by side

All four have 50 cm depth, a seat at 43 cm and the same angular shape on legs. You choose along two axes: stitching or not, height 80 or 100 centimetres.

When this model is the right one

It works where the seating should be part of the interior and not just a background: the representative zone of a venue, a run visible from the entrance, a hotel lobby, a room held in one colour where the piece is the only surface with texture.

It makes no sense in two situations. In a cramped space with one window, because a back of one hundred centimetres cuts the view and the room feels smaller. And in a room that is already richly decorated, with patterned wallpaper or a mural, where the dense squared pattern lays a third pattern on top of two existing ones.

In both cases PARMA or PARMA MAX with a smooth back is the better choice.

The squared pattern and daily running

The stitching does not change the way the cover is washed and does not make cleaning harder. The choice between the smooth and the sewn variant is about looks, not about running the venue.

What does change is the choice of fabric. A dense squared pattern creates the texture itself, so a material with a strong pattern of its own will compete with it. On this model plain fabrics do better, where the stitching is the only drawing in the surface.

Construction and lead time

Foam with a density meant for continuous use, identical across the family. Fabric for serving venues has, with us, at least 40 000 Martindale, and most of the range sits above 100 000.

Production to measure takes roughly four to six weeks, counted from the moment payment is registered. The minimum order is one linear metre, and before we put it into production we ask for at least half the value against a proforma invoice: 968 27 586.
